Job summary

Emerson is seeking a motivated Sales Professional to join our North America sales team in Detroit, MI. As a Professional Tool Specialist, you will promote and demonstrate RIDGID and Greenlee tool lines to end-users across Electrical, Mechanical, Utility, Plumbing, and Industrial segments.

You will build relationships with electricians, plumbers, linemen, foremen, project managers, and more, leading trainings and demonstrations while driving two-way communication to convey Emerson’s value

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with tool applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical, utility or plumbing tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to synthesize information.

Responsibilities

• Promote RIDGID/Greenlee product line to end-users in multiple segments at the local level.
• Develop relationships with electricians, plumbers, linemen, foremen, and project managers.
• Conduct training sessions for apprenticeship and journeymen at local centers.
• Demonstrate value proposition Faster-Safer-Easier to customers.
