Emerson is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth for RIDGID and Greenlee in North America. You will join the Professional Tools sales team, cultivate trusted distributor and end-user relationships, and demonstrate how our solutions address customer priorities in the Des Moines, IA area.

This role emphasizes strategic planning, product demonstrations, training, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve quarterly goals and expand market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience developing, presenting, executing, and measuring territory plans.
• Proven success achieving sales goals via consultative selling and solutions.
• Experience with product demonstrations, training, and end-user support.
• Ability to manage forecasts and build distributor/end-user relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive the direction, coordination, and growth of utility market sales through direct customer engagement and close collaboration with Professional Tools Territory Managers.
• Provide guidance to regional Territory Managers; conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical support for end users and distributors.
• Lead strategic new product and solution sales initiatives to expand market opportunities.
• Develop, present, and execute annual business plans to achieve incremental sales growth.
• Develop and manage monthly/annual forecasts while monitoring market trends and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with distributor partners and end users; support training initiatives and special projects.
