Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales across a defined region, service existing accounts, and develop new business in line with company strategy. You will coordinate with inside sales and production, maintain territory records, and report activity to the Commercial Director, while continually expanding product knowledge and market insight.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in metals, strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, CRM

Qualifications

• 1+ year in the metals industry with some level of product knowledge.
• Results driven individual with high performance standards of themselves and others.
• Strong external and internal customer focus.
• Previous work experience in sales, management, account management, or relevant experience.
• Experience using a CRM to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpretation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Services existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new business.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management.
• Works closely with inside sales and production teams to ensure customer needs are met and problems are adequately resolved in a timely and complete fashion.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provide historical records by maintaining records on territory and customer sales.
• Other related duties as assigned
