Job summary

Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and maintain sales across a defined geographic area, meeting customer needs and driving business in line with company strategy.

You will work with inside sales and production to ensure timely resolution of issues, maintain territory records, and pursue new accounts while delivering strong customer service and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in metals industry with product knowledge
• Results driven with high performance standards
• Strong external and internal customer focus
• Experience in sales, account management or related roles
• Experience using a CRM to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong interpretation and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts

Responsibilities

• Services existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishes new accounts
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and recommending solutions
• Collaborates with inside sales and production to meet customer needs
• Keeps management informed with activity reports and territory analyses
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge through workshops and networks
• Maintains territory and customer sales records
• Other related duties as assigned
