Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager to cover the NW Wisconsin and NE Minnesota region. You will manage a ~$6M territory, drive growth with distributors and lumber yards, and promote metal roofing and wall panel solutions.

The role requires relationship-building, strategic prospecting, and strong customer service across residential and commercial markets. You will partner with operations and sales teams to deliver training, support pull-through initiatives, and

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales experience preferred
• Experience within building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred
• Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred
• Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles valued
• Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to consistent customer follow-up
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with customers
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple systems and technologies

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the territory by managing a ~$6M book and expanding customer relationships
• Develop partnerships with distributors, dealers, and lumber yards
• Drive sales growth through proactive prospecting and new opportunities
• Sell industry-leading metal roofing and wall panel products across markets
• Support product training and contractor pull-through initiatives
• Collaborate with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support
• Provide responsive customer support in a fast-paced environment
• Assist customers through ongoing product and system integration initiatives
