Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. — PMI U.S. is seeking an Undergraduate Intern in Field Sales for Summer 2027. The 10-week program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and networking with peers and leaders across Commercial teams.

You’ll work with Territory Sales Managers in the field, analyze market trends, and support territory growth and retailer engagement to learn how strategic plans translate into marketplace results.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
