Graybar Electric Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our market by selling products and services to new and existing customers. You will visit sites, promote margins, and align with pricing policies.

The role requires 3+ years in the industry, a 4-year degree preferred, strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills, and willingness to travel extensively, including overnights.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience required; 4+ years preferred.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Negotiation skills and ability to persuade.
• Extensive travel required, including some overnight travel.

Responsabilidades

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in assigned territory in compliance with pricing policies.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
• Carry out sales and merchandise programs, and recommend new items for stock.
• Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in collection of past due accounts.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
