Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division seeks a District Sales Engineer to drive growth in the central/eastern Tennessee market, covering Nashville, Tri-Cities and nearby areas. This hybrid role requires residence within 50 miles of Nashville, Louisville, Cleveland, TN, with travel up to 25% as needed.

You will sell division products to OEMs and through distributors, support key accounts, develop sales plans, provide technical application guidance, and help train junior engineers to meet aggressive sales

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with minimum five years in sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering.
Valid driver’s license required.
No relocation benefits; must live within 50 miles of Nashville, Louisville, or Cleveland; Active-Duty Military candidates exempt from geography.

Responsibilities

Sell division products to OEMs and distributors; maintain contact with key accounts in the territory.
Implement promotional programs with distributors, OEMs, utilities, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical assistance on product applications to accounts and industry influences.
Develop sales plans and forecasts; help management set objectives.
Assist in training less experienced sales engineers/representatives.
