Job summary

The Eaton Group is seeking a District Sales Engineer for the greater central/eastern Tennessee market, including the Tri-Cities. This role is hybrid and requires residency within 50 miles of Nashville, TN; Louisville, TN; Cleveland, TN; or the Tri-Cities area.

You will drive sales of Bussmann division products to OEMs and distributors, develop accounts, and deliver technical support. A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in sales/engineering is required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum five years in sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (no relocation benefits)

Responsibilities

• Sell division products to OEMs and through distributors to end customers within the territory
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, architects and engineers
• Provide technical assistance on application of division products to accounts and industries
• Develop and recommend sales plans, forecasts and objectives for assigned accounts
• Assist buying accounts with customer service activities and satisfaction
• Assist in training and development of less experienced sales engineers/representatives
