Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a District Sales Engineer to drive sales of Bussmann products in central/eastern Tennessee, including the Tri-Cities. The role is hybrid, onsite, and requires living within 50 miles of Nashville, Louisville, or Cleveland, TN.

You will develop and execute sales plans, provide technical assistance, and cultivate relationships with OEMs and distributors while coordinating with marketing, product management and operations to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with minimum five (5) years of experience in a sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering position.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN; Louisville, TN; or Cleveland, TN; Active-Duty Military exempt from geography.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell division products to OEMs and through distributors.
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, and engineers.
• Provide technical assistance on product applications to accounts and users.
• Develop sales plans, forecasts, and objectives for assigned accounts.
• Assist in training and development of less experienced sales engineers.
