Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering
• Valid driver’s license required
• No relocation benefit; candidate must live within 50 miles of Nashville, Louisville or Cleveland, TN (military exception)
• Preferred: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited school
• Experience in managing customer relationships and driving sales growth in a geographic territory
• 3+ years in electrical industry; experience with OEMs, distributors, contractors and engineers

Responsibilities

• Sell division products to original equipment manufacturers and through distributors to end customers; maintain contact with key accounts within the territory
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, architects, engineers, insurers, contractors, schools and gov bodies
• Provide technical assistance on product applications to accounts and industry stakeholders
• Develop and recommend sales plans, forecasts and objectives for assigned accounts
• Assist buying accounts with customer service activities to ensure satisfaction
• Assist in training and development of less experienced sales engineers/representatives
