Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division in Tennessee is seeking a District Sales Engineer to drive sales in the central/eastern Tennessee market, including the Tri-Cities. This hybrid role requires promoting division products to OEMs and distributors, building key accounts, and attaining sales objectives through strategic plans and customer service excellence.

The position offers collaboration with marketing, product management, and sales teams, with a focus on growth in electrical distribution channels

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with minimum five (5) years of experience in a sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering position
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Nashville, TN; Louisville, TN or Cleveland, TN will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Sell division products to OEMs and through distributors to end customers and manage key accounts in the territory
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, architects, engineers, insurers, contractors, and others
• Provide technical assistance on application of division’s products to accounts and industry influences
• Develop and recommend sales plans and forecasts for assigned accounts, supporting long- and short-term objectives
• Assist buying accounts with customer service activities to ensure ongoing satisfaction with division products
• Assist in training and development of less experienced sales engineers/representatives as needed
