Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a District Sales Engineer for the greater central/eastern Tennessee market, with a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN; Cleveland, TN; or the Tri-Cities area to be considered.

The role focuses on attaining sales objectives by promoting division products to OEMs and through distributors, developing accounts, and providing technical assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum five years in sales, marketing, application engineering or product engineering
• Valid driver’s license
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN; Louisville, TN or Cleveland, TN; no relocation benefits

Responsibilities

• Sales of division products to OEMs and through distributors to end customers; maintain contact with key accounts
• Implement promotional programs with distributors, institutional users, OEMs, utilities, architects and engineers, insurance companies, contractors, inspectors, industrial users, schools and universities, commercial users, trade and industry organizations and governmental agencies
• Provide technical assistance regarding application of division’s products to buying accounts, users and industry influences
• Develop and recommend sales plans, forecasts and objectives for assigned accounts; supply information to enable management to set goals
• Assist buying accounts with customer service activities to ensure satisfaction with the division and its products
• Assist in training and development of less experienced sales engineers/representatives
