Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Rental Division to grow rental and compact equipment sales in a defined geographic area.

You will cultivate durable relationships with customers, coordinate with Rental Coordinators, and drive opportunities in the rental market while collaborating with other divisions. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write English.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development and time management preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Establish new rental and sales accounts in niche markets through phone calls and in-person visits.
• Identify and generate leads for new business using sales tools.
• Call on lost or dormant accounts to generate business.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and arrange payment.
• Maintain and build positive customer relationships.
• Prepare sales plans and reports; perform administrative duties.
• Visit all customers regularly to nurture relationships.
