Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist to cultivate and manage referring provider relationships across New York (Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island) with remote-based work and extensive travel. You will coordinate with treatment teams to expand reach and improve patient engagement.

The role requires strong client relations, business development skills, and experience with CRM tools; travel is 70-90% within the assigned territory and residence must be in NY.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in behavioral health or eating disorder outreach is preferred but not required.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Must possess a current, valid S. Driver’s License.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with colleagues and referral sources.
• Analyze territory and develop a comprehensive outreach plan to win back business and grow the referral database.
• Develop and execute a quarterly and annual business development plan within the territory to meet or exceed targets.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision makers to uncover needs and build partnerships.
• Plan and attend conferences and events to increase program awareness among providers.
