Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist to cultivate and manage referring provider relationships within New York City and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate care and expand the program’s community impact.

This role requires deep relationship building with clinicians and referral sources to optimize patient pathways. Remote-based with 70-90% travel; residence in NY is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in behavioral health or eating disorder outreach preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with colleagues, clinicians, and referral sources.
• Analyze territory, develop outreach plans, and implement strategies to win back business and grow referrals.
• Develop and execute written quarterly and annual business development plans.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision makers to uncover needs and build partnerships.
• Plan and attend conferences and networking events to expand program awareness.
• Respond promptly to referrals and coordinate care from first contact through admission.
