Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Sales Representative to grow sales at Lowe's stores across the assigned territory, manage relationships with store staff and contractors, and ensure proper display and promotions.

You will train Lowe's personnel on products like Valspar and other Sherwin-Williams lines, conduct events, document calls in CRM, and travel within the region up to 50% to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales.
• Preferred 3+ years of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales.
• Strong selling relationships with store staff and management.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management and district managers.
• Promote brand strengths to Lowe's associates and customers/contractors.
• Use CRM to document sales calls and store visits.
• Gather competitor intelligence in CRM.
• Conduct contractor events to promote products and increase sales.
• Ensure promotions, pricing and signage are correctly displayed in each store.
• Prepare Annual Growth Plan for assigned stores meeting or exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Lead trainings on product knowledge, sales methods, promotions and equipment.
• Assist with tinting/mixing paint as needed.
• Review store product stock and display compliance.
• Make sales calls to painters, remodelers, and home builders to grow pro-paint sales (~10% of time).
• Perform Profit and Loss reviews and manage expenses.
