Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow sales at Lowe's stores in Missouri. You will develop relationships with store staff, promote Sherwin-Williams products, and execute trainings and events across the territory.

You will document activity in the CRM, manage promotions, and travel up to 50% of the time to support retailers and contractors. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends, with possible travel.
• Must be willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management and district managers.
• Promote and represent the Sherwin-Williams brand and products to Lowe's associates and customers.
• Use the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits.
• Gather and document competitor intelligence in the CRM.
• Conduct contractor events to promote products and drive sales.
• Ensure promotions, pricing and signage are correctly set in each store.
• Prepare Annual Growth Plan (AGP) for assigned stores to meet or exceed sales and profit goals.
• Conduct trainings on product knowledge, sales techniques, promotions and equipment for Lowe's staff.
• Assist store staff with tinting/mixing paint as needed.
• Review Sherwin-Williams product assortment in each department for stocking and display.
• Make sales calls to residential re-painters, remodelers, property maintenance managers and local home builders (~10% of weekly time).
• Perform Profit and Loss review including expense tracking and travel/entertainment costs.
• Travel within the region up to 50% of the time.
