Job summary

Big O Metals LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a territory in the Greater Phoenix area. You will maintain existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and actively develop business.

The role emphasizes an entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and ownership of territory growth, with a preference for steel industry experience but openness to motivated candidates aligning with values.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel industry or related sectors is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Proven ability to develop new business while growing existing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with assigned customers and grow account revenue.
• Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new customers in the Greater Phoenix market.
• Conduct daily in-person customer visits.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and market share.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate steel/fabrication solutions.
• Follow up on leads, prepare quotes, negotiate, and close sales.
• Collaborate with operations, fabrication, and inside sales teams for order fulfillment.
• Take ownership of territory performance and results.
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
