Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover a local territory with face-to-face client engagements. You will work directly with business owners and employees, conducting in-person meetings and benefit presentations.

This independent contractor role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship building, and ongoing client support, including enrollment, follow-up, and claims questions. Licensing assistance is provided and travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales/customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within established systems.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Health & Life insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend supplemental coverage options.
• Support enrollment, follow-up, and claims questions.
• Maintain records using CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals and field outreach.
• Collaborate with leadership to set performance goals.
• Track daily and weekly activity.
