Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to partner with local business owners in a face-to-face, local territory role. You will manage relationships, present supplemental benefit options, enroll clients, and provide ongoing support as an independent contractor in a structured commission-based environment.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, and capable of building a sustainable career in outside sales, travel within territory, and license in Health & Life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work independently while following established systems
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within territory
• Health & Life insurance license or willingness to obtain within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supplemental coverage options
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions
• Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals
• Track and report daily and weekly activity
