Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover a local territory with face-to-face client meetings. You will work directly with business owners and employees to present supplemental benefit options and manage enrollment, follow-up, and questions.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, independent scheduling, and ongoing client support, with structured training and licensing assistance for Health & Life lines within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while following established systems.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within territory.
• Health & Life license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership teams.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supplemental coverage options.
• Support clients with enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions.
• Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
