The role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship management, and ongoing support, with independence as an independent contractor. Training is provided to develop product and compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in sales or business development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Licensing in Health & Life insurance or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Reliable transportation is required for field visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for employees and leadership.
• Identify client needs and recommend supplemental coverage options.
• Support enrollment, follow-up, and claims questions for clients.
• Maintain records using company CRM systems.
• Prospect new business through referrals, field outreach, and appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to set performance goals.
• Track and report daily and weekly activity.
