Job summary

Emser Tile is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover Reno, NV and surrounding territory. The OSR will call on existing and new clientele, including builders, designers, and general contractors, to drive sales and grow accounts.

In this role you will develop new channel opportunities, manage multiple accounts, and promote Emser products through knowledgeable, responsive service. A strong emphasis on relationship-building and territory growth is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in outside sales within flooring or building materials is preferred.
• Strong ability to identify client needs and align with product offerings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with clients and influencers.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and establishes relationships with new and existing clientele.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Works independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals and directives.
• Provides industry-leading service by processing orders and credits promptly.
• Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with clients and understanding their needs.
• Sets up and maintains client displays and merchandising samples.
• Emphasizes new product promotion during sales calls and onsite visits/meetings.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of all Emser products and offerings.
• Responds to the marketplace by providing value through informed follow-up.
• Stays aware of competing markets and reports market movement and penetration.
• Attends and participates in trade and industry events to increase client knowledge of Emser.
