Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business in the New Hampshire and Eastern Vermont territory.

The role involves managing relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, woodworkers, and retailers, with field visits three to four days a week. You will engage in structured consultative sales discussions, in person and virtually, to advise customers and close sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, ideally outside sales within building materials or construction industries.
• Passion for solving customer needs and driving sales growth.
• Willingness to travel in the field three to four days per week.
• Self-directed with strong time management and planning.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Own reliable transportation for regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities for cabinet and furniture manufacturers and woodworkers.
• Engage in consultative sales discussions in person and virtually.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships in the territory.
• Plan and optimize sales calls, track activity in CRM, and follow up on requests.
