Job summary

Distribution International is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to increase sales and margins within a defined territory. You will build relationships with customers, develop strategic plans, and present proposals to drive revenue while traveling up to 75% of the time.

The role requires 1+ year of outside B2B sales, a valid driver’s license, and CRM experience. A bachelor’s degree or some college is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year of outside business-to-business sales experience.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Expand sales volume within the territory and call on new and existing customers.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product discussions to customers at all levels.
• Use pre-call planning, market information, and scheduling to maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage and report weekly sales activities and forecasts.
