Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow contractor and builder accounts in the assigned territory. You will prospect, meet clients, and drive new business with a focus on relationship-building and solution-based selling.

Use Salesforce for activity tracking and reporting, and collaborate with teams to deliver value. A college degree is preferred, with a driven, self-motivated mindset indispensable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in territory management and B2B outside sales
• Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales
• College degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 – 10 daily sales appointments.
• Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
• Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
