Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a positive, motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Houston team. You will develop new business, meet with contractors, remodelers, and builders, and educate them on our building products and services.

In this role you will establish long-term relationships, manage accounts, and use Salesforce to track activities and targets, while pursuing aggressive sales goals in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of territory management and B2B outside sales experience.
• Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identify and prospect clients within territory and manage leads.
• Customer Meetings: meet face to face with contractors, remodelers, and builders.
• Relationship Building: establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Sales Reporting: utilize CRM to track and report sales activities.
