Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to help drive new business and manage key contractor relationships. You will prospect within your territory, educate clients on our building products, and work toward meeting aggressive sales targets.

Responsibilities include face-to-face client meetings, relationship cultivation, and accurate sales activity reporting using Salesforce. A strong drive, communication skills, and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of territory management and B2B outside sales experience.
• Experience using CRM software to track sales activity.
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect clients within your territory and develop & manage leads.
• Meet face to face with contractors, remodelers and builders to educate on products/services.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and offer solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
