Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand business across a defined territory including Ann Arbor, Toledo, and surrounding areas. You will call on independent repair shops, fleets, and government entities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and presentations.

The role offers a competitive base salary ($60k-$75k) with quarterly bonuses, potential commission growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter mentality with focus to serve customers in pursuit to drive sales.
• Motivation as self-starter.
• Automotive background/knowledge.
• Integrity and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Sell using a proven system and marketing materials.
• Develop and implement plans to grow territory accounts.
• Dayshift position; no overnights.
• Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, production, and distribution.
• Prepare needs assessments and sales proposals.
• Build long-term value-based relationships and expand prospecting.
