Position Summary
The Territory Operations Manager oversees the logistical, administrative, and service functions within a specific geographic area, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently to support sales teams, drive revenue growth, and improve customer satisfaction. They act as a liaison between field staff, regional directors, and corporate departments to implement strategic business plans and monitor performance metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize field operations, including service delivery, inventory management, and logistics, to meet regional service goals and annual plans.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze KPIs, service reports, and market data to identify improvements, track sales potential, and maintain high-quality service.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor field staff (e.g., Service Representatives), coordinating training plans and performance management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders, resolving issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting & Compliance: Manage operational budgets, including expenses and assets (e.g., tools, vehicles), while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to implement company-wide initiatives and new service lines.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams and manage field personnel.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking performance metrics and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Communication: Effective interpersonal skills for building customer relationships.
- Experience: Previous experience in operations, sales management, or field service management is typically required.
Education
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) preferred
- 3+ years of experience in similar industry may be substituted for education
