Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA to lead branch operations, sales and production for office clientele and staff. The role emphasizes strong leadership, knowledge of custom residential construction, and a servant-leader management style to drive results.

Ideal candidates will be from or familiar with the South Richmond area and knowledgeable about local vendors/subs, enabling rapid acclimation and effective team development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of custom residential construction and production building (multiple homes simultaneously).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, hard work ethic, servant-leader management style.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with the Sales Team to align on opportunities.
• Review advertising and approve budgets to optimize spend.
• Provide weekly updates with Division President and corporate leadership.
• Review projections and challenges with managers and executive leadership.
• Conduct job inspections when necessary and lead final review meetings.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor and supervise employees, subs and vendors.
• Leverage networking to build relationships with vendors and subs; negotiate contracts and hire subs/suppliers.
• Review overhead costs and general P&L to protect profitability.
• Address customer concerns and communicate resolutions clearly.

A National leader in the custom home building industry, is looking for a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA (Petersburg)

The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of custom residential construction, familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time), hard work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a servant-leader management style.

The candidate will preferable be from/familiar with the South Richmond VA area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.

This company is looking for the right person with “positive energy” and strong leadership abilities that will constantly be driving the Production & Sales processes as well as growing the team.

Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the branch operations, sales & production for our office clientele & staff.

Overview of Priorities:

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.
• Job inspection when necessary
• Final Review meetings
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Networking expertise
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns & Communicate Resolutions

• Competitive salary (average ~$125-150k/year DOE) + Bonus'
