Job summary

Reynolds American in Lake Charles, LA seeks a Territory Manager to grow brands by building strong relationships with key clients. You will drive sales, develop a local business plan, and lead presentations with retailers and distributors to increase market share.

The role requires travel up to 200 miles daily, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A valid U.S. driver’s license is required as travel is frequent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales and growth objectives within territory to meet company goals.
• Develops local strategy and business plan for territory objectives and targets outlets.
• Plans product placement and POS to maximize visibility and sales.
• Develops customer relationships with local chains and distributors.
• Sell the 5Ps: presence, price, promotion, product, and personal selling.
• Analyze territory to identify opportunities and negotiate contracts with new retailers.
• Collaborates with management on territory sales planning and initiatives.
