Job summary

Sazerac Co. is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive volume and distribution for our spirits brands across a defined territory. You will partner with grocery, liquor, and convenience stores to expand market share and execute programs with distributors and retailers.

The role requires 1+ year in field sales within alcohol or CPG, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Base salary reflects market with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Proven volume growth and ability to meet distribution and retail promo goals.
• Willingness to travel within an assigned territory with a valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with vibrant off-premise accounts to hit volume and distribution goals.
• Lead in-store selling, marketing, and account execution with distributors.
• Use trends and data to educate customers and grow brand share.
• Develop rapport with customers and coordinate with wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure achievement of targets and drive program results.
