Job summary

CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, PA, seeks a Territory Manager to drive sales of residential roofing products across an assigned territory. You will develop territory plans, build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders and specifiers, and promote product solutions that create value and growth.

This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel. Minimum 4 years of sales experience and strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional sales experience with a track record in relationship management, presentations, and closing sales.
• Strong ability to build rapport with contractors, builders, architects, specifiers, owners and distributors.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to influence multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales growth objectives and meet performance goals.
• Develop and implement territory sales plans to maximize opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, architects, specifiers, owners, homebuilders and distributors.
• Promote and sell roofing and siding solutions in residential/commercial markets.
• Increase specifications of value-added products and improve project closing rates.
• Identify, monitor, and track construction projects from planning through bid stages to maximize opportunities.
• Conduct product presentations and educational programs for industry professionals and trade partners.
• Travel approximately 75% within the territory.
