Job summary

Papé Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Construction Equipment Sales to expand our West Coast operations.

You will cultivate relationships with contractors and heavy equipment users, identify opportunities, and tailor equipment solutions to boost productivity and profitability. This field-based role requires travel across Lassen, Shasta and Tehama counties and a proven track record in sales.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in construction or related industries.
• Knowledge of heavy and compact construction equipment and applications preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment financing and leasing options preferred.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Strong prospecting and business development abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience operating or working around construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with contractors, construction companies, and heavy equipment operators in your territory.
• Travel across Lassen, Shasta and Tehama counties visiting jobsites and meeting customers and prospects.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and tailor equipment solutions for applications and operating needs.
• Work with internal product support and rental teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Develop long‑term customer relationships and contribute to territory growth and earnings.
