Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surfaces to maintain and grow profitability and market share in the Cleveland, OH region.

You will build strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, driving programs, sample placement and service excellence to expand Shaw's share. You will manage displays, analyze leads, and report on sales performance while traveling locally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the market and willing to travel by vehicle.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and use a laptop for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring market activity.
• Prepare and communicate sales reports showing volume and potential.
• Analyze territory sales data to aid goal setting and dealer promotions.
• Control travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budgets.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers on them.
