The role covers the Grand Rapids market and requires regular travel within the territory. The position involves daily customer visits, product presentations, sample displays, and coordinating with dealers, designers, and end users to promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial

Qualifications

High-school diploma or GED with 1 year of sales experience.
Must reside in the market.
Must be able to travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards (van/SUV).
Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
Flexible schedule; may include some evenings.
Proficient with a laptop and basic Windows software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

Daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives, and related products.
Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
Prospect for new accounts within the designated geographic area.
Prepare reports of sales transactions, volume, and potential.
Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.
Promote Shaw residential products and educate customers on Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
