Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a Residential Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surface Flooring to grow Shaw’s profitability and market share in the assigned geographic area.

You will build relationships with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, present products, manage samples and displays, and report sales activity. Candidates need a high-school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of sales experience, willingness to travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel.
• Ability to lift samples up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on carpet/hard surface products and related items.
• Present products to dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks and sample displays weighing 50lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while understanding local market dynamics and opportunities.
• Prepare reports of sales activity and forecast future performance.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Educate customers on Shaw residential products including Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial.
