Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surfaces to cover the Cleveland, OH market. You will drive sales with flooring dealers, designers and end-users, building strong relationships and expanding Shaw’s market share.

You will perform field visits, manage product samples, and use Salesforce.com to track opportunities and results. A high school diploma and 1 year of sales experience are required, with travel and a flexible schedule anticipated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sales experience required or equivalent.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel by vehicle.
• Completion of Shaw sales trainee program can substitute experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface products and related items.
• Present products to dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks and manage samples.
• Prospect for new accounts and monitor local market conditions.
• Prepare and communicate sales and business reports and goals.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com and manage budgets.
