Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for Heart Failure to drive CardioMEMS therapy adoption across implanting centers and community hospitals in the United States. You will build strong physician and administrator relationships, lead negotiations, and support educational events while meeting sales targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare sales with cardiology exposure, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel 60–70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience; cardiology preferred.
• Proven quota attainment for 2 consecutive years.
• Experience opening new accounts and expanding utilization.
• Strong payor and insurance reimbursement knowledge.
• Recent launch experience in 2–3 programs within 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, HF clinics, and administrators.
• Deliver clinical and strategic presentations to drive therapy adoption.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and value-based talks.
• Plan educational events on hemodynamics, data, and case studies.
• Provide on-site technical and procedural support as needed.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Education, and Commercial teams.
