Job summary

BD, a leading medical technology company, seeks a field-based sales professional to attain territory goals and educate surgeons and OR staff on advanced repair and reconstruction products in the assigned region.

You will train physicians, manage current accounts, and develop new prospects while maintaining product knowledge and adherence to company policies. This role emphasizes field travel and customer-focused problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience, medical sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Understanding of the product buyer concept.
• Understanding contract administration.
• Ability to travel at least 60% including overnight travel.
• Local candidates only, no relocation available.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site technical support during procedures to ensure accurate product usage.
• Training and educating physicians and hospital staff on the use of the products.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of the Company’s products, channels and distribution methods.
• Responsible for meeting territory sales and profitability goals.
• Developing new prospects and establishing customers.
