Job summary

Syneos Health is launching a brand new rare disease GI/Hepatology team. The Territory Business Manager will drive sales in an assigned geography, develop strategy, and communicate therapeutic value through high-impact presentations.

The ideal candidate brings a 7+ year pharma/biopharma sales track record, GI/Hepatology experience, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required.
• BA/BS degree required.
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience required/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the territory.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
