Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager to lead a brand-new rare disease GI/Hepatology team. This role will drive sales in a defined geography through strategic plans, data-driven decisions and high-impact clinical presentations.

The TBM will build physician relationships, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and execute the company’s brand strategy while maintaining compliance and integrity. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience; rare disease preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• Proven track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory geography preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated with high autonomy and independence.
• CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted DSE MBO and future sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and support business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan activities for regular territory coverage.
