Job summary

QXO is North America’s leading insulation, roofing, lumber, and waterproofing distributor and installer. The Outside Sales Rep will grow sales in the insulation and building products division, build relationships with customers, prospect new accounts, and promote the brand through effective presentations and negotiations.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience, a valid driver's license if driving for company purposes, and knowledge of the building industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor/Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Understanding of construction drawings.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
• Independently manage existing customers and territory.
• Deliver effective presentations and negotiations; strong written and verbal communication.
• Process dealer orders and review system-generated acknowledgements.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
• Cover a territory within a 250-mile radius with overnight travel up to 75%.
