Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking a results-driven sales professional to expand our broker network across the United States. Under general supervision, you will solicit, develop, and close opportunities to meet revenue goals while maintaining strong broker relationships.

You will execute creative strategies, collaborate with Client Managers and Market Directors, and coordinate with Operations to implement new clients and serve existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet sales and revenue goals.
• Proficiency in internal computer systems.
• Experience with major accounts and broker networks.
• Knowledge of underwriting, products, and healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and develop sales; maintain and grow broker base within assigned territory to meet revenue goals.
• Execute and develop a creative sales strategy to contact prospective brokers and prospective accounts to create sales opportunities
• Create solid business relationships and build rapport with prospective accounts and/or brokers
• Collaborate with corresponding Client Managers and Market Directors within territory
• Coordinate with Operations and other business partners to effectively implement new clients and maintain broker relationships
• Provide plan design options, sales information, and rate quotations to prospective accounts and brokers
