Job summary

Vestis in California is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee a service territory, coach Route Sales Representatives, and drive customer retention and growth. You will travel with service professionals, review performance weekly, and ensure timely resolution of service requests.

New account installations support, revenue protection, and AR collections are part of the role. A strong sales culture and leadership are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two years of service/route-based experience with growth of accounts.
• DOT certification and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to manage customer interface and service operations.
• Production planning, maintenance or warehouse ops experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a safety culture.
• Coach and develop Route Sales Representatives in your territory.
• Report to Service Manager or Sr. Territory Manager; escalate as needed.
• Foster a team selling culture via TIG and Shared Lead programs.
• Assist in new account installations as directed.
• Manage day-to-day customer service programs for the territory.
• Visit required customers quarterly to review growth opportunities.
• Ensure RSRs respond to and resolve service requests timely.
• Negotiate and secure renewal agreements with existing customers.
• Recruit, select and hire Route Sales employees.
• Hold weekly in-person reviews with RSRs to review trends and coach.
• Deliver training to ensure customer retention and service goals.
• Coordinate collections for accounts receivable.
