Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Madison, WI is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee a service territory, coach Route Sales Representatives, and drive customer retention and revenue growth while maintaining service standards.

You will travel frequently (60%), lead by example, coordinate with the Service Manager, and help install new accounts while ensuring profitability and timely service for a growing North American client base.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two years of service and route-based industry experience, with proven track record for growing customer accounts
• Previous profit and loss accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred
• Significant customer interface and service experience
• Production planning, maintenance, or warehouse operations experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a safety culture
• Evaluate, coach, and develop Route Sales Representatives in your territory
• Report to Service Manager or Sr. Territory Manager or General Manager as applicable
• Foster a pervasive sales culture through TIG and Shared Lead programs
• Assist in new account installations as directed by leadership
• Manage day-to-day activity of customer service programs for the territory
• Visit required customers each quarter to review growth opportunities
• Ensure RSRs respond to and resolve service requests timely
• Set clear expectations for customer service and lead by example
• Spend ~60% of time traveling with service professionals in the territory
• Proactively follow up on accounts in jeopardy and resolve service issues
• Negotiate and secure renewal agreements
• Recruit, select and hire Route Sales employees
• Complete weekly in-person reviews with RSRs
• Deliver training to ensure retention and service goals
• Maintain daily contact with RSRs to resolve items
• Attend meetings and complete admin work to improve satisfaction
• Coordinate collections for AR
• Protect and manage merchandise control
• Investigate and report accidents within 24 hours
