Job summary

Vestis Corporation, in California, seeks a Territory Manager to oversee an assigned service territory, coach Route Sales Representatives, and drive customer retention and growth. You will manage safety, revenue, AR collections, renewals, and coordinated sales efforts across the team, with trips to customer locations and frequent field meetings.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), two years of route-based experience, DOT certification, and a valid driver’s license;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of service/route-based experience with a track record of growing customer accounts.
• DOT certification and a valid driver’s license required.
• Experience interfacing with multiple organizational functions is important.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a safety culture.
• Coach and develop Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) in the territory.
• Report to Service Manager or Sr. Territory Manager as applicable.
• Foster a team-selling culture via TIG and Shared Lead programs.
• Assist in new account installations per management direction.
• Manage day-to-day customer service programs for the territory.
• Travel to customer locations for quarterly reviews and opportunities.
• Negotiate and secure renewal agreements with existing customers.
• Recruit, select, and hire Route Sales staff.
• Conduct weekly in-person reviews with each RSR to discuss trends and improvements.
