SERVPRO of South Orange County is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead referral development, territory growth, and new business generation throughout South Orange County.

This is a hands-on, field-based role for a self-directed professional with restoration industry experience. You will personally manage business development for the location, from identifying prospects and building relationships to generating qualified referrals and growing revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in business development or outside sales in restoration.
• Proven success generating referrals and growing accounts.
• Strong understanding of restoration services for insurance and property management partners.
• Confident with prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and asking for business.
• Ability to independently plan daily activity, manage a territory, and follow through on opportunities.
• Strong communication, organization, and reporting skills.
• Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel regularly across South Orange County.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plan to grow referral sources and revenue.
• Build relationships with property managers, insurers, facility managers, plumbers, contractors, and business owners.
• Prospect consistently via in-person visits, calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Identify new business opportunities, present SERVPRO services, and seek referrals.
• Represent the company at associations, networking events, and educational opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline with contacts, activity, opportunities, and next steps.
• Provide updates to leadership on account development and territory revenue.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handoff from referral to service delivery.
• Ensure presentations and materials follow SERVPRO brand standards.
